Exciting and upsetting news comes to us in the form of a tour announcement. Eminem and Rihanna announced their Monster Tour earlier this week, but something huge is missing.

The pair is only hitting 3 cities in their tour, and Tampa is absolutely not one of them. The tour begins in New York on August 7th, then to LA on August 16th and finally to Detroit (obvious choice for Em) on August 22nd. I don’t think you need a map to realize that none of those cities are anywhere near Tampa.
As a serious Eminem fan, you can imagine my bittersweet disappointment. While I’m encouraged and excited to see that Eminem is touring again, I’m devastated that he is only traveling to 3 cities. His last nationwide tour was in 2005 with Anger Management 3 and has since been fairly quiet. He toured with Jay-Z in 2010, but again, that was a 3 city tour. Aside from a few award show performances, we have really been Eminem deprived. We need our Em back, people!
I say we must “Mosh” in protest against this outrage. How can Em put on a show “Without Me”? He is my “Superman”! Okay, enough with the song quotes, but there must be Em fans in Tampa that are feeling a little left out after hearing this news.
